We said farewell to our Administrative Assistant, Theresa Valero, who has served the clinic for nearly 5 years. We wish her and her family well as they prepare to move out of state this summer. Theresa wishes to thank Sr. Mariana, the staff, and all the wonderful volunteers for being a joy to work with. Maria Zevallos has stepped in to the role as Administrative Assistant, and we are so thrilled to be in such good hands for this transition.
The clinic was pleased to host 16 nurses for our Nursing In-service on March 28th. These volunteers received further training on diabetes education, lifestyle changes for managing GERD, and motivational interviewing. Special thanks to our Nurse Manager Melissa for planning the in-service, and to guest speakers Susan Fowlkes and Sr. Monika Mary.
