Who staffs the St. Mary’s Legacy Clinic?
The Clinic is volunteer-run by physicians, nurses, and community members who have chosen to donate their time and skills to this great ministry. We have a team of over 70 active volunteers. None of them are paid or compensated for their service to the Clinic.
Who is eligible to receive services from St. Mary’s Legacy Clinic?
Anyone who is not currently receiving medical care for any reason: lack of insurance, inability to pay for care, unable to travel to a doctor, etc.
What services are provided by St. Mary’s Legacy Clinic?
The Clinic seeks to be a “family doctor’s office on wheels.” Its initial focus is on providing primary care services to people who are not currently receiving health care. It can provide care for both urgent health care needs (acute illnesses, minor injuries) and chronic conditions (such as high blood pressure and diabetes). Patient education and disease prevention is a strong focus for the Clinic staff. Find out more about our services by clicking here to go to our services offered page.
What services are NOT able to be provided by St. Mary’s Legacy Clinic?
The Clinic is not able to provide dental care, vision care, contraception, narcotics or pain management, pregnancy-related services, vaccines (other than Tdap) screenings for disability, DOT/CDL Physicals, or worker’s compensation. See our services offered page for more information.
